• Access data which is automatically collected by our web server. Access log records collect and store information based on IP addresses and access request date/time.
• We host our website on UK2 servers. UK2 is fully compliant with Data Protection laws, although the basic information they store is not user-specific and cannot be used to identify an individual.
• We use Google Analytics (GA4) to gather and display information relating to accessing our web site.
• All data gathered, processed and displayed by Google Analytics is randomised and can never be traced to an individual.

We don’t collect any data relevant to marketing preferences or share any of your data for external marketing.

Our use of your personal data is purely to conduct business with you, our client.

We use this data to:

• Communicate with our clients both current and potential.
• Marketing our business
• Conducting all elements of business to provide services to our clients.
• Email confirmations, invoicing, receipts etc.
• Keeping records for accounting purposes
• Operating our website and use of cookies

Who has access to your personal information

We will not share, distribute, sell or lease your personal information to any third parties. Any personal information we request from you will be safeguarded under current legislation.

We treat all information provided by you with the utmost privacy and we only request information needed to conduct business with you.

We do not host any further third-party website content such as imagery hosted on CDNs or embedded social or video content which could use their own cookies to gather data about you.

You may choose to restrict the collection or use of your personal information at any point.

Our website management has access to our Google Analytics Dashboard, but no other data that can identify you personally.

How and where we store data

We only keep your personal data for as long as we need to in order to use it as described in this Privacy Policy, and/or for as long as we have your permission to keep it.

Emails

When you send an email to the email address displayed on our website, we collect your email address and any other information you provide in that email (such as your name, telephone number and the information contained in any signature block in your email).

UK2

A small amount of data is automatically collected by our web server access log records. Access log records collect and store information based on IP addresses and access request date/time. We host our website with UK2 who are fully compliant with Data Protection laws, although the basic information they store is not user-specific and cannot be used to identify an individual.

FreeToBook

As discussed in this Privacy Policy we use third-party software, FreeToBook, to process booking enquiries via our website. We do not pass any information to them, but they will collect a minimum amount of contact data to process the enquiry.  FreeToBook is fully compliant with GDPR regulation – please access their Privacy Policy (which can be found via a link on the enquiry/booking page) to learn more.

Your choices

You have a right to request a copy of the personal information that we hold about you and have any inaccuracies corrected. Any such requests should be made to this email address: info@hemsbyseaview.co.uk

Data we do store is only kept for the time needed to perform contract or accounting purposes.

Security

We don’t directly take any payments online so there are no credit/debit card details taken or stored. Any payments we do take are via bank transfer and therefore under your control.
